In recent years, cases showing urticaria as a result of hypersensitiveness to malarial parasites have been reported by Eyermann and Strauss (1930), Davies (1936), Gouriou (1938) and Agrama (1940) in Africa and Europe and by Chatterjee (1939) in India, who reported three cases.
